  • Working in the Rugby Union team, involved in all aspects of production including developing creative ideas, researching topics and writing briefs as requested
  • Helping Assistant Producers source footage for VT’s and features for inclusion within live programmes.

This role will require late starts/finishes and weekend/bank holiday working where necessary as well as travelling to shoot/outside broadcast locations in the UK and abroad.

Who you are…

  • We’d love you to have experience of a live broadcast environment; working in live galleries or Outside Broadcasts in a fast-paced, time critical environment but this is not essential.
  • You have a passion for sport - knowledge of Rugby Union is not essential, what is more important is an eye for a good story and a willingness to learn.
  • You’re proactive, hardworking, organised, hands on and a team player!
  • You are comfortable enough to pitch creative ideas and support others with their idea generation and shoot execution.
  • You’re self-motivated, good at time keeping and can follow instructions.
  • You successfully communicate your ideas and apply critical thinking in your work.
  • You have an understanding and awareness of social media platforms. What compelling content helps drive growth and engagement.
  • You have a clear enthusiasm for sports broadcasting and being part of a production team producing top tier programming. You’re keen to learn about how to engage viewers to produce the best possible programmes. You want to understand more about the changing media landscape and the opportunities that brings to the future of sports digital broadcasting.
  • Not necessary to the role but beneficial would be any experience in self-shooting or the ability to edit using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Buzz 16 is an equal opportunities employer with a commitment to recruiting, retaining, developing, and advancing an inclusive workforce that reflects the diversity of the world we live in. Come and be part of our team's journey.
