Job Description:
Do you consider yourself an engaging person with good negotiation skills that can deliver excellent service that our guests will love, in ways that are in line with our budget figures? Do you have previous room reservations, meetings or conference booking experience using Opera Cloud/Delphi Systems, & are you comfortable multi-tasking your way through a fast-paced workload whilst delivering an array of different guest requirements alongside the hotels Ops team..?
This dual role supporting both the reservations and event sales team is heavily administrative-based, requiring the successful candidate to effectively and efficiently deal with day-to-day enquiries, updating systems and taking payments for bookings alongside providing an outstanding customer experience reflecting brand and company standards. Key responsibilities of our Reservations and Event Sales Coordinator:
- Ensuring all charges are raised and paid for following established procedures
- Upselling bedroom types & other hotel services at every opportunity, ensuring accuracy of details on all bookings
- To accept, process & manage meeting and event space bookings to ensure maximum revenue and occupancy
- Developing and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues & clients
- Dealing with any guest feedback or requests in a professional and efficient way
This position is a full time role with a general Monday-Friday working pattern but may also require occasional evening/weekend work as required by our clients (for appointments, show rounds etc.)
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Previous experience of PMS i.e. Opera
- Organisational skills based around administration
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- A positive and approachable attitude with a commitment to delivering high quality customer service
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Fluent English both verbally and written
About the Hotel

The Earls Suite can cater for up to 600 guests and comes complete with a private entrance, reception, bar and cloakroom. All rooms feature audio-visual equipment and have Wi-Fi connectivity.
