Resident Engineer – HVAC / Building Services

Our client is looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to join their team in London. You will be responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient operation of building services, carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance, fault finding and minor remedial works.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete planned and reactive HVAC maintenance.

* Diagnose and repair equipment faults efficiently.

* Produce accurate quotations and maintenance reports.

* Maintain site logbooks and ensure all work is properly documented.

* Ensure all works comply with health & safety, environmental and statutory requirements.

* Deliver agreed SLA and KPI targets.

* Liaise with the client, helpdesk, suppliers and account management team.

* Maintain tools, equipment and company assets to the required standard.

* Provide a professional service and maintain strong client relationships.

About You

You will ideally have:

* NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration / HVAC or equivalent.

* F-Gas Category 1.

* Proven commercial HVAC maintenance experience.

* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

* Good knowledge of Health & Safety and F-Gas compliance.

* Experience working to SFG20 standards.

* Experience with chillers, AHUs or other complex/critical plant.

* Around 5 years' experience in a similar role is preferred.

Additional qualifications such as ACRIB Gold, IPAF, PASMA, First Aid, IOSH, Legionella, PAT Testing or Thermography would be advantageous.

Package

* £50,000 – £52,000 per annum

* 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays

* Company uniform and tools provided

* Pension scheme

* Death in Service benefit following the qualifying period

* Permanent position based in London
