Resident Liaison Officer Location: Stevenage Duration: Long-term contract – 2+ years Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week on site Sector: Construction We are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Resident Liaison Officer to join an established construction company working on a major long-term contract in Stevenage. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stability, as the successful candidate will be working for one company on one major contract, with the project expected to run for three years. You will be based on the construction site five days a week, working from the site office and acting as a key link between the construction team, residents and the local community. The Role As Resident Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with residents throughout the duration of the project. You will ensure residents are kept fully informed of the works and will act as their main point of contact for any queries, concerns or issues. Your duties will include: * Acting as the main point of contact for residents affected by the works. * Keeping residents informed about upcoming works, timescales and potential disruption. * Responding to queries, concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently. * Building and maintaining strong relationships with residents and the local community. * Working closely with the site management and construction teams to resolve issues. * Carrying out regular resident communications and engagement activities. * Keeping accurate records of enquiries, complaints and actions. * Ensuring residents receive clear and timely information throughout the project. * Helping to minimise disruption and maintain excellent relationships between the company and the local community. About You The ideal candidate will have: * Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Customer Liaison Officer, Community Liaison Officer or in a similar position. * Experience within the construction, housing or property sector. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A confident, approachable and professional manner. * Experience dealing with residents, customers or members of the public. * The ability to handle complaints and difficult situations calmly and professionally. * Strong organisational and administrative skills. * Good IT and written communication skills. * The ability to work as part of a busy site team.
