Resident Maintenance Engineer

Resident Engineer required to work at our Skelmersdale site. This is a great opportunity with NO nights, working a rotating shift pattern of Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, 7am - 3pm, 2pm - 10pm). Benefits to include company contributory pension scheme and private healthcare.
* Carry out automated materials handling equipment servicing, in accordance with quality standards.
* Electrical and mechanical breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include dock leveller, packaging machinery, chain and roller conveyors and cranes.
* Working with Siemens S7 and safety PLC's.
* Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
* Working at heights.
* Observe the Company rules for employeesObserve the Company policy and procedures on Quality Assurance.
* To co-operate readily, politely and amicably with other Company & Customer personnel.
What you need to succeed
* Time served engineer in Electrical Engineering.
* Experience of working with automated machinery is essential for this role.
* Happy to work at heights.
* This is a customer facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
* To observe the Company rules for employees.
* To observe the Company policy and procedures on Quality Assurance.
* To co-operate readily, politely and amicably with other Company & Customer personnel.
* Willing and quick Learner.
* Happy working as a lone engineer approx. 70% of time
