Job Title: Residential Childcare Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Home/Field based covering Manchester / Liverpool and surrounding areas

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience) + bonus scheme!

Our client is happy to consider non-qualified Assessors, who possess a solid history within Residential Childcare at Team Leader level or above - and ideally some exposure to training and development.

Full training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve the Teaching / Assessing qualification.

Essential Criteria:

• Hold strong, occupational competency at Team Leader level or above within a Residential Childcare setting.
• Ideally hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
• Experience of delivering on-the-job training would be highly desirable.
• Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

• Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, Level 3 and Level 4.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
• Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
