Key responsbilites:

• Deliver high-quality training, assessment, and support to learners undertaking the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare

• Conduct regular 1:1 sessions with learners via online platforms (e.g. MS Teams) to track progress and provide tailored guidance

• Carry out observation visits in the workplace (typically once every 3 months) to assess practical skills and competency

• Support learners in building a portfolio of evidence that meets the qualification requirements and reflects sector standards

• Set and mark assignments, providing constructive feedback to encourage learner development

• Monitor and review learners' progress, ensuring timely achievement of qualifications

• Ensure all assessment and documentation complies with awarding body and Ofsted requirements

Requirments:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Deputy Manager or Residential Manager in a children's home

• Hold a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
