Residential Childcare Tutor/Assessor Location: Home Based with travel across England

At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Residential Childcare Tutor/Assessor to join their expanding team based across England.
This is a home-based role with a blend of remote delivery and face to face learner visits. You will play a key role in delivering, coaching, and assessing Children, Young People and Families apprenticeship programmes, supporting learners working within residential childcare settings to achieve successful outcomes.
What you will be doing: • Deliver Level 4 and Level 5 Children, Young People and Families apprenticeship standards • Support the delivery of additional skills programmes including Level 3 Residential Childcare qualifications • Deliver a combination of remote and face to face teaching, coaching, and assessment sessions • Manage and maintain a caseload of learners, ensuring timely progress and achievement • Complete learner inductions and develop individual learning plans • Deliver engaging teaching and learning sessions tailored to learner and employer needs • Embed Math’s, English • Conduct regular progress reviews with learners and employers • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support learner achievement • Maintain accurate learner records using electronic portfolio systems • Monitor off the job training requirements and ensure compliance with funding regulations • Prepare learners for End Point Assessment and successful qualification achievement • Identify progression opportunities and support learner development
What we are looking for: • Level 4 Residential Childcare qualification or Level 5 or above sector related professional qualification • Teaching qualification at Level 5 or equivalent or Assessor qualification such as D32, D33, A1, CAVA, TAQA or equivalent • Minimum two years’ experience working as a Deputy Manager or Manager within a residential childcare setting in the past • Willingness to travel as required
