Residential Children's Support Worker Newbury House & Stirling House NG24 Area Permanent & Temp-to-Perm Opportunities Available

We are recruiting dedicated and compassionate Residential Children's Support Workers to join our trauma-informed residential services at Newbury House and Stirling House. These homes provide safe, nurturing environments where children and young people can heal, grow, and achieve positive outcomes following difficult life experiences.

The Role As a Residential Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people within a therapeutic residential setting. You will help create a stable, positive, and nurturing home environment while promoting independence, resilience, education, and emotional wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
Building positive and trusting relationships with children and young people Supporting daily routines, activities, and life skills development Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Safeguarding and protecting vulnerable children at all times Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals Maintaining accurate records and reports Supporting children to achieve their personal goals and aspirationsWhat We're Looking For To be considered for this role, you must have:
Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Children’s Residential Care (Essential) Full UK Driving Licence (Essential) Full Right to Work in the UK with no restrictions or expiry (Essential) Previous experience working with children and young people in a residential setting A caring, resilient, and professional approach Excellent communication and teamwork skillsSalary & Benefits Annual salary of £31,259 Includes a £1,400 attendance bonus, paid quarterly £46.01 sleep-in allowance per sleep Regular sleep-ins available (typically 2 per week) Ongoing training and development opportunities Supportive management and team environment Opportunities for career progressionWorking Pattern This role operates on a rotational shift pattern, including:
Early shifts Long day shifts Late shifts Sleep-in dutiesFlexibility is required to meet the needs of the service and the young people supported.
