An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join a well-established firm known for its private client and non-contentious legal work. The firm has long-standing ties to the local community and prides itself on delivering a reliable, personable service to its loyal client base. The Role:
As a key member of the property department, you’ll be responsible for managing your own caseload from instruction through to completion, offering a hands-on and varied workload. Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling all aspects of residential conveyancing including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new build transactions, and re-mortgages.
• Using a case management system to independently progress files efficiently and accurately.
• Drafting contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documentation with strong attention to detail.
• Providing clear, client-focused legal advice, maintaining excellent communication throughout the process.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm and contributing to a positive team culture.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, often with returning or locally referred clients.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in residential property.
• Proven ability to handle a full conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong technical knowledge, especially in leasehold and new-build transactions.
• Excellent drafting and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A team player with a proactive and positive approach to work and client service.
• Familiarity with case management systems and the ability to use technology to streamline workflow.
