Residential Conveyancer

TSR Legal are proud to be working with a leading conveyancing law firm, who are looking for a Residential Conveyancer to join their Cardiff office. In this role you will manage a substantial and varied workload providing legal advice to clients, drafting contracts accurately, and supporting the partner's complex matters.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience of managing their own caseload independently, be confident and well organised in running a varied caseload, have excellent time management skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Administer all aspects of Residential Conveyancing, conducting due diligence in all areas of processing a residential property transaction.
• Handle all property matters independently, including Leaseholds, Freeholds, Registered and Unregistered Properties, and various transaction types (sales, purchase, re-mortgage, new build, right to buy, help to buy, shared ownership, lease extensions, deeds of variation, etc.).
• Achieve time and billing targets
• Effectively manage a varied caseload, adapting to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Progress client matters efficiently, ensuring files are organised and maintained in good order.
• Collaborate with colleagues, contributing to the department workflow and assisting with other client projects when required.
• Build strong client relationships by embodying the firm's ethos of providing exceptional client care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Solicitors or CIlex with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE),
• Proven experience in handling a caseload of Residential Conveyancing matters independently.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
