My client, a progressive and expanding law firm, is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to establish and lead a new department in their new office located near Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident legal professional to take full ownership of a department, driving its development and building a strong presence in the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a full range of residential conveyancing matters, including:
• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• New builds and shared ownership
• Lease extensions, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity
• Equity release and related matters
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, estate agents, and lenders
• Developing strong local connections and raising the firm’s profile in Guildford and the surrounding area
• Ensuring excellent client service and compliance throughout

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer (CLC), or Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx)
• Minimum 2 years’ PQE with the ability to handle a varied caseload independently
• Strong business development and networking skills
• Excellent communication and client care
• Confident using modern conveyancing systems and technology
