Residential Conveyancer

Our client is a well-established Top 200 law firm and leading provider of wealth management services with offices across Lincolnshire and the Midlands. They are one of the oldest law firms in the UK, known for our progressive, forward-thinking approach and commitment to exceptional client care.

As part of their continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their busy and supportive team in Grantham.

The Role

You will handle a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completion. You should be confident, organised, and able to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment. Strong client service and the ability to develop excellent working relationships with clients, agents and colleagues are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold/leasehold sales and purchases.

• Deal with new builds and plot purchases.

• Prepare and undertake all required searches.

• Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, and other third parties.

• Produce standard contract documentation.

• Manage exchange, completion, and post-completion formalities including SDLT and Companies House submissions.

• Maintain accurate time records and ensure billing procedures are followed.

• Contribute to business development and cross-referrals to other departments.

What they’re Looking For

Essential:

• Experienced Conveyancer (Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer).

• Proven experience managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload.

• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.

• Excellent understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant compliance (AML, Solicitors Account Rules).

• IT literate, with experience using case management systems.

Desirable:

• Experience using SOS Connect.

• Knowledge of plot sales and new build transactions.

Hours: 09:00 - 17:15 Monday to Friday (36.25 hours/week)
