Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our dynamic and expanding team in Gravesend. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a busy and diverse caseload, with exposure to both residential and commercial conveyancing matters. The successful candidate will be supported by secretarial assistance and will work in a collaborative and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including:
  

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    

  • Transfers of equity
    

  • Remortgages
    

  • Title checking, search reports, and enquiries
    

  • Stamp Duty procedures
    

• Handle leasehold transactions including:
  

  • Lease renewals
    

  • Deeds of surrender
    

  • Grant of new leases
    

  • Regulation of landlord and tenant relationships
    

• Deal with commercial property transactions such as:
  

  • Business acquisitions and disposals
    

  • Utilities agreements
    

  • Refinancing
    

• Take responsibility for files from instruction to completion
  

• Engage actively in business development and client relationship management
  

Requirements

• Extensive experience in residential conveyancing with a good working knowledge of commercial property work
  
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently with minimal supervision
  
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and client-focused approach
  
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  
• Technically competent with a pragmatic and solution-driven mindset
