Are you a seasoned Residential Conveyancing Solicitor ready to take on a senior role? You will oversee a broad range of residential property matters while providing leadership, mentoring, and driving the continued success of the department.

The Role:
As a Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, you will manage a complex caseload while supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the department’s growth. Key responsibilities include:

• Handling high-value and complex residential property transactions, including freehold, leasehold, new build, shared ownership, and re-mortgages.
• Providing expert advice on title issues, lease extensions, and other technical matters.
• Overseeing the smooth running of the department, ensuring excellent client service and regulatory compliance.
• Supervising, mentoring, and training junior solicitors, paralegals, and support staff.
• Liaising with estate agents, mortgage brokers, solicitors, and lenders to progress matters efficiently.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, and other key documentation with accuracy.
• Supporting business development by building strong client and referrer relationships.
• Driving improvements in systems and processes, including effective use of case management software.
• Playing an active role in the firm’s growth strategy through networking and client engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in residential conveyancing.
• Strong technical knowledge across the full spectrum of conveyancing matters, including complex and high-value transactions.
• Demonstrable leadership experience, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and develop team members.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage a demanding caseload while supporting the wider team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities for business development.
• Proficiency in using modern conveyancing case management systems.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, committed to upholding the firm’s high standards of client service.
