Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer

An established law firm in Middlesbrough is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join and help develop its growing property team.

The Role

You will manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload, providing a high standard of client care while helping to grow the department and its client base.

Your caseload will include:

• Residential sales and purchases
• Freehold and leasehold transactions
• Re-mortgages
• New build transactions
• Help to Buy
• Lease extensions
• Buy-to-let matters

The successful candidate will also play an active role in business development, building relationships with clients, estate agents, brokers and other referrers to generate new business.

About You

• Is a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
• Has at least 2 years' PQE or equivalent experience
• Has strong residential conveyancing experience
• Can manage a caseload independently from instruction through to completion
• Has excellent client care and communication skills
• Is commercially minded and interested in developing new business
• Has experience of both freehold and leasehold matters
Experience of commercial property work would be desirable but is not essential.
