Job Title: Residential Home Manager - Dementia Care
Location: Ilford
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We're recruiting for an experienced Residential Home Manager to lead a well-established 20-bed care home that supports older people, most of whom are living with dementia or other mental health-related conditions.

The home is currently at full occupancy, and the incoming manager must be ready to take full leadership responsibility from day one. CQC registration is essential, so applicants must already be in a position to register or transfer.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys running a close-knit, community-focused home and is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

• 20-bed residential setting

• Residents have a mix of care needs - primarily older adults with mild to moderate dementia

• The home also supports convalescent and respite stays

• Well-supported by a long-standing staff team

• Focus on a warm, homely environment with tailored care plans

• Fully compliant in key areas but requires continued oversight and strong leadership

• Experience managing a residential care home (essential)

• CQC-registered or eligible to register immediately

• Good knowledge of dementia care and support planning

• Confident leading staff, managing risk, and ensuring high standards

• Strong understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance requirements

• A hands-on leader who leads by example

• Salary of £38,000 to £42,000 depending on experience

• Full-time, permanent position
