Residential Property Associate/Senior Associate

AJ Chambers are working with a well-established and highly regarded UK law firm to recruit a Residential Property Associate/Senior Associate (DOE) to join their London-based Private Real Estate team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a market-leading department with a long-term view for career progression.

This role will focus on managing a varied and high-value caseload of residential property transactions, with a particular emphasis on high net worth individuals, family offices, trusts, and international clients. You will be advising on:

• High-value freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals

• New build and off-plan transactions

• Remortgages

• Leasehold enfranchisement and landlord & tenant matters

You will work closely with top-ranked lawyers in Chambers HNW, Legal 500, and Spears, and collaborate with colleagues across Private Client, Family, and Commercial Real Estate disciplines.

We’re seeking a talented and commercially astute solicitor with:

• 3-6 years PQE in residential property law

• Demonstrable experience acting for high net worth clients on complex, high-value transactions

• A strong understanding of leasehold enfranchisement, landlord and tenant law

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and technical legal skills

• Experience liaising with intermediaries such as agents, tax advisors, and wealth managers

• Confidence working independently on transactions with minimal supervision

• A proactive, client-first attitude with a keen eye for detail

• Strong team ethic, excellent communication skills, and a desire to develop junior staff (desirable)

• A track record or enthusiasm for business development is a plus
