Residential Property Lawyer

Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking an ambitious and client focused Residential Property Lawyer (Solicitor, CILEX or Licensed Conveyancer) to join a highly regarded and supportive Residential Property team based in Reading. This is a full time, permanent position offering a salary of up to £60,000 (depending on experience) along with excellent benefits including private medical insurance, a generous holiday allowance, bonus scheme, and more.

Role Responsibilities

Day-to-day duties within this Residential Property Lawyer job include:

• Providing legal advice on a wide range of residential property transactions, including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, voluntary first registrations, and lease extensions.
• Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of client care and service.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships by understanding individual needs and providing tailored advice.
• Identifying and developing opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participating in business development activities.
• Supporting the team in managing a caseload of residential property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
• Preparing and reviewing legal documentation and reports

Person Specification

This role is ideal for a proactive and ambitious property lawyer who takes pride in delivering exceptional client service. The successful Residential Property Lawyer will demonstrate:

• Ideally, 1+ PQE as a Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer or Licensed Conveyancer
• A solid grounding and technical knowledge in residential property law.
• Strong technical ability and excellent drafting skills.
• The ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Strong commercial acumen and a client-focused mindset.
