Residential Property Paralegal - Full-Time

A well-regarded full-service law firm based in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join their growing team. This is a full-time position, and applicants must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working as a paralegal, with proven ability to manage their own caseload.

You’ll be supporting the Head of Residential Property while independently handling a variety of residential property transactions. The role involves day-to-day client contact, management of transactions from instruction to post-completion, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients throughout the conveyancing process via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings.

• Liaise with estate agents, mortgage lenders, the Land Registry, and other solicitors.

• Draft and amend legal documents, including advice notes, letters, and post-completion registration forms.

• Manage your own caseload of residential transactions efficiently and in line with agreed service standards.

• Contribute to business development initiatives and team goals.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a paralegal, ideally with prior exposure to residential property work.

• Confident in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.

• Ability to prioritise, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a flexible approach to tasks and working hours.
