Job Description - Residential Property Solicitor

I’m currently working with a well-respected law firm in Guildford that's on the lookout for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join their busy and collaborative team.

They’re known for high-quality work, long-standing client relationships, and a culture that genuinely supports growth and flexibility.

What you’ll be doing:

Running a varied caseload of residential property matters – think sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages
Guiding clients through the process with clear, expert legal advice from start to finish
Carrying out all the key checks – including reviewing titles, conducting searches, and spotting any red flags early on
Drafting and reviewing key documents like contracts and leases
Keeping communication flowing between clients, agents, lenders and anyone else involved to keep things on track
Tackling more technical issues as they crop up and finding practical solutions
Staying current with property law updates to give the best service possible
Ensuring everything you do is in line with professional and regulatory standards
