Site Manager – New Build Housing

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum DOE

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join an established housebuilding contractor on a permanent basis, overseeing operations on a new-build residential development in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and hands-on Site Manager with a strong background in residential construction, who can take ownership of site operations, manage subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing the day-to-day management of a new-build residential development.

*

Coordinating and managing subcontractors and site trades to ensure programme targets are achieved.

*

Monitoring build progress and ensuring works are completed in line with agreed timescales.

*

Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the build process.

*

Managing site health and safety, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations.

*

Carrying out regular site inspections and quality control checks.

*

Managing snagging, defect resolution and plot completions.

*

Ensuring site records, reports and documentation are accurately maintained.

*

Working closely with the wider construction team to ensure the successful delivery of the development.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager within the new-build housebuilding sector.

*

Strong understanding of residential construction methods, build programmes and plot progression.

*

Valid SMSTS qualification.

*

Valid CSCS card.

*

First Aid qualification.

*

Excellent subcontractor management and leadership skills.

*

Strong organisational skills with the ability to drive programme and quality.

*

A proactive, hands-on approach to site management.
