Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people living in residential homes.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll help create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued, respected, and empowered to achieve their goals.

What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting children with their daily routines and personal development
* Building positive, trusting relationships that promote confidence and emotional wellbeing
* Encouraging independence, life skills, and positive behaviour
* Supporting children to attend school, appointments, family contact, and community activities
* Creating a safe, caring, and therapeutic home environment
* Safeguarding children and promoting their welfare at all times
* Recording daily observations and maintaining accurate care records
* Working alongside social workers, schools, healthcare professionals, and families
* Following individual Care Plans, Placement Plans, and Risk Assessments
* Supporting children through challenging situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism
What We're Looking For
Essential
* Experience working with children or young people (Residential Care preferred)
* Passion for improving children's lives
* Caring, patient, and resilient personality
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
* Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
* Good written English and record-keeping skills
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable
* Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve)
* Full UK Driving Licence
* PMVA/MAPA or behaviour management training
