We are seeking a DT Resistant Materials Teacher to join an outstanding school in Birmingham, starting in April 2025. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to become a Resistant Materials Teacher to students across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5.

About the Role:
As a DT Resistant Materials Teacher, you will:

• Teach Resistant Materials at KS3 to KS5.


• Develop engaging and practical lesson plans.


• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of the curriculum alongside other Resistant Materials Teachers.


• Lead extracurricular activities such as design and technology competitions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Design & Technology or related subject


• Experience as Resistant Materials Teacher at secondary school level

Salary:
Salary will be paid to the MPS/UPS scale.
