About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about educating youth about sustainability initiatives? As a Resource Conservation Specialist in the Climate Corps Fellowship program, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to impactful sustainability initiatives with the Kent School District.
This is an on-site position with the expectation of onsite work 5 days per week. This position requires the employee to be physically located within commuting distance of the site location at the time of hire. Only candidates currently residing within commuting distance of the site address will be considered.
Kent School District is the fifth-largest school district in Washington state, supporting 44 schools and academies. Their mission is to successfully prepare all students for their futures. Managing resources provides the greatest impact for achieving that mission. As Facilities and resource managers, conservation is an opportunity to play a major role in their mission's success. Though Kent has all the tools, there is so much low-hanging fruit for making significant change. For a district this size, this contribution by the Resource Conservation Specialist will be equally significant.
