Key Responsibilities

• Teach Year 2 pupils, building their confidence and preparing them for KS2.


• Use inquiry-based and interactive teaching methods to enhance engagement.


• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.


• Use data-driven assessment to track progress and adapt teaching accordingly.


• Collaborate with the wider KS1 team to develop and share best practices.


• Take part in extra-curricular activities and school-wide events.

What We’re Looking For

• 
  QTS and solid experience teaching in KS1, particularly Year 2.


• A growth mindset and willingness to embrace new teaching strategies.


• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, phonics, and early numeracy.


• Ability to create dynamic and engaging learning experiences.


• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
