Key Responsibilities
- Teach Year 2 pupils, building their confidence and preparing them for KS2.
- Use inquiry-based and interactive teaching methods to enhance engagement.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.
- Use data-driven assessment to track progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
- Collaborate with the wider KS1 team to develop and share best practices.
- Take part in extra-curricular activities and school-wide events.
What We’re Looking For
QTS and solid experience teaching in KS1, particularly Year 2.
- A growth mindset and willingness to embrace new teaching strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, phonics, and early numeracy.
- Ability to create dynamic and engaging learning experiences.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
