Smart Environmental Support Services Division are pleased to be recruiting for a Resourcing Consultant to join our team.
This is a hybrid working position, the ideal candidate will be based in the southeast, as there will be the requirements for site visits 2-3x per week around the Southeast of the UK

The Role

The Resourcing Consultant will play a pivotal role in managing the recruitment of our flexible workforce across three sub-regions in England and Scotland. This role includes overseeing advertising, managing job boards, allocating budgets, and ensuring a smooth candidate registration and onboarding process. The Resourcing Manager will also be responsible for updating central management systems, addressing general candidate enquiries, and supporting the team in various duties to maintain a successful flexible workforce supply for our clients

Key Duties

Oversee job advertising, including job board management and budget allocation for three regions across England & Scotland.
Attending onsite visits for service and performance reviews
Pre-screening candidates before their interview for suitability and conduct registrations
Preparing and delivering specific client inductions and testing when required.
Completing a search on company’s database to find suitable candidates for the client’s vacancy
Coach candidates on interview skills / Skills testing
Manage Temp availability to meet client needs
Spec CVs / Market candidates, Search / Shortlist CVs in line with job order request, Ensure CVs are of a specific standard and reflective of client requests
Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the Account Managers and/ or clients.
Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits on the job in question
Check daily PPE and uniform is distributed correctly to staff, ensuring all staff are aware and follow safe working procedures without fail
Ensure that Smart and clients induction requirements are met and ensure that pre-screening of new staff members in adherence with Smart and client Health & Safety working practices
Co-ordinating staff holidays jointly with the clients staff holiday planner ensuring full coverage

Experience & Qualifications Required

Previous experience of managing high volume recruitment to include drafting advertisements, shortlisting, and candidate management.
Previous experience of working with Indeed.
Experience with the management and analysis of job board data, to determine the most effective use of campaigns and advertising desired
Working knowledge of Health & Safety at work
Understanding of waste and recycling collection operations is an advantage
Must be able to demonstrate problem solving skills
Excellent level of English, both spoken and written is essential
Very good level of numeracy
Ability to multitask while under pressure
Flexible, adaptable approach is essential
Experience of delivering training
Holding a valid and clean driving license with own car is essential
