A well-established commercial law firm with a strong national and international presence is looking to appoint a Senior Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join its London-based Restructuring & Insolvency team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded and technically skilled lawyer to join a highly respected team operating at the forefront of business recovery, restructuring and insolvency work.

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders across the firm and play a visible, hands-on role advising on a wide range of restructuring scenarios. The work is broad and engaging, including:

• Advising on turnaround strategies, formal insolvency procedures, and restructuring options for distressed businesses
• Acting on behalf of officeholders, creditors, lenders, corporates, and directors in both contentious and transactional contexts
• Supporting distressed M&A, security enforcement, and refinancing deals
• Contributing to practice growth through mentoring, client relationship management, and thought leadership

About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 6 years’ PQE in restructuring and insolvency
• Solid experience handling a combination of advisory, transactional, and contentious matters
• Strong analytical, drafting and commercial skills, with the ability to lead matters confidently
• A proactive and collaborative approach to client service and team development
