Restructuring Director

Ambition is partnered with a leading global accounting practice that is seeking to grow their restructuring advisory team by hiring a new Director to be specialised in the Financial Services sector.

This role will see you joining a market leading team with a sector specialism in financial services. You will have the opportunity to be working on some of the most interesting and complex restructuring engagements in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to prepare and pitch for new assignments.
• Create reports and recommendations for lenders and other stakeholders.
• Identify and develop opportunities to secure new work and support the creation of new products and services.
• Coach and mentor team members to help them reach their potential and provide excellent client service.
• Apply technical knowledge effectively in individual assignments, demonstrating both skill and efficiency in resolving client issues.
• Manage and motivate multiple teams, balancing competing demands on complex assignments while enhancing market presence.
• Lead and contribute to the team's marketing efforts, including organizing and attending events, and preparing and delivering

Requirements

• You must be a fully qualified chartered accountant
• Minimum of 7 years post qualified experience working in a restructuring focused position with an accounting or advisory firm
• Experience in managing projects encompassing independent business reviews, short-term cash flow assessments, expedited sales processes, contingency planning, and executing insolvency appointments, including pre-packaged administration.
