An exciting opportunity is available to recruit into a role as a Band 6 Resuscitation Officer, to join the resuscitation training department in Learning Education & Development. This is a full time post, working 37.5 hours, on a Monday to Friday working pattern. The purpose of this role is to:
The Resuscitation Department is seeking an experienced registered practitioner, with clinical expertise working in a high acuity or acute setting. We seek an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with a passion for education & Resuscitation Practice, to support in the delivery of high quality education, and quality assurance of resuscitation practice at PHU. An individual with experience in delivering Resuscitation Council UK courses, particularly Immediate Life Support is highly desirable. Opportunity to undertake an Advanced Life Support Course will be available.
The post holder will support with audit, including the National Cardiac Arrest Audit data collection. The successful applicant will be expected to also attend 2222 cardiac arrest calls when able, and be an active member of the the Emergency Response Team, providing 2222 response to the grounds and external buildings. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, organised, and ready for the challenge.
