Job Description:

As a Retail Chef, you will be responsible for managing the daily culinary operations of our retail store. Your primary goal will be to create an exceptional culinary experience for our customers while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation of high-quality meals and products.
Develop and execute seasonal menus and specials that align with customer preferences and market trends.
Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Monitor food costs, labor, and waste to optimize profitability.
Collaborate with the retail team to create promotional and marketing strategies to boost sales.
Provide excellent customer service and handle any customer complaints or feedback professionally.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef in a retail, restaurant, or similar environment.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Creative and innovative approach to menu planning and food presentation.
Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
