Retail Funds Legal Counsel, 2+

Job Description

This US wealth manager with over $1 trillion of AUM is looking to appoint a retail funds lawyer to its legal team in London.

In this role you will work in a collegiate legal team, supporting a highly successful business advising on:

- fund documents with a focus on Funds OEIC;

- negotiating fund distribution, IMAs and related agreements; and

- complex strategic regulatory projects including ESG, FCA Consultations, and policy statements working closely with the sales, products and marketing teams.

You will have trained and qualified at a top City law firm, have 2-4 years’ PQE advising on retail fund structures, and be looking for your first move In-house. Knowledge of UK (ideally), Lux, and/or Irish fund structures, in particular OEICs/ICVCs, cross border distribution, and investment management agreements is key in this role.
