A rare opportunity has opened for a talented and commercially driven Retail Manager to lead operations in the Falkland Islands, where your expertise will directly shape the retail experience for an entire community.

The Role
The Retail Manager will take ownership of product strategy, supplier relationships, and stock performance across a diverse retail portfolio. From groceries to homeware, you’ll ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time all while driving profitability and operational excellence.

You’ll work closely with both local and UK-based teams and play a key role in transforming retail operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

This is a full-time, on-site role. Relocation to the Falkland Islands is essential, and full support will be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading product range development across food and non-food categories
• Spotting trends, identifying gaps, and driving new product opportunities
• Managing supplier negotiations to optimise pricing and margins
• Overseeing stock control and ordering systems across the full trading year
• Conducting regular pricing reviews and market benchmarking
• Collaborating with store managers to boost sales and reduce costs
• Driving continuous improvement in processes and performance

What Success Looks Like

• Strong, data-driven product ranges and planograms in place
• High availability and minimal out-of-stocks
• Reduced losses through effective stock management
• Regular reviews of cost prices, retail prices, and margins
• Clear, actionable reporting on sales, margins, and trends

What You’ll Bring

• A proven track record in retail management with strong commercial instincts
• Deep knowledge of product ranging and planogram development
• Confidence working with both automated and manual ordering systems
• Advanced Excel skills and a sharp analytical mindset
