Retail Manager

DJI is currently looking for a passionate Retail Manager to join our European Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - include but are not limited to:
Responsibility for implementing the country's retail strategy and adapting it to local market requirements
Operational management of the entire Retail division together with the Sales and Retail HQ-Teams
Responsible for the strategy of product and furniture placement in retail shops
Responsible for furniture development and strategy implementation
Management, coaching and development of our shop managers and a retail specialist
Responsible with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews
Responsible for updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what competitors are doing
Project Lead for the realization of new store openings in France
To work with the Sales Team, tailoring each retail strategy to the partners requirements
Communicate the brand’s sales and marketing initiatives
Responsible for the relationship with partner and local sales and marketing team
Connect closely with headquarters to stay up-to-date on full product line knowledge
Represent the brand with the highest level of professionalism, expertise and enthusiasm

Requirements:
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
3+ years of experience in retail in local consumer electronics industry (including but not limited to manufacturers/agencies/Fnac) preferably with a training and development background
Strong strategic thinking, presentation and execution capabilities
Strong team management skills, providing regular performance feedback; develops skills and encourages growth
Detail-oriented, exceptional organizing skills with strong change agility
Ability to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule
A passion for tech / drones / photo and video camera systems
Rich interest and insights in consumer electronic market and consumer behavior.
Exceptional communication skills – both oral and written
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to put together project plans
Flexible and adaptable; able to manage shifting priorities as projects evolve
Proficiency with MS Office products, email and online productivity tools
Travel in line with business needs
BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing, and/or other relevant areas desirable but not essential
