Are you passionate about retail operations? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Head Office Sales department as a Senior Project Manager where you will lead numerous key business projects, that look to develop exciting new Self-Checkout and store-based technology into our stores and shape the digital future of our stores.  This challenging role will expose you to business leaders at all organisational levels and will involve collaborating with cross-functional departments both internationally and nationally.

The role will require you to work closely with our IT department to implement innovative technology to support our customers journey in store.

What you'll do

  • Focused on delivering new Self-Checkout/Checkout technology projects to support ourcustomers and stores.
  • Planning, managing, and coordinating the rollout of large multi-million-pound projects.
  • Working on multiple large-scale projects simultaneously to improve the user experience within our stores.
  • Development of high-quality training materials and guidelines with an end user focus.
  • Analyze and report on the progress of projects.
  • Manage a wide range of internal & external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across National and International Headquarters, Regional Distribution Centres and Stores.
  • Present project proposals and outcomes to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.

What you'll need

  • Experience working and rolling out projects would be advantageous.
  • Deep passion for retail and the core values of the business.
  • A confident and resilient approach capable of working closely with the highest levels of the business.
  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to interpret and analyse data.
  • A creative and forward-thinking commercial operator who can quickly adapt to our high-pressured business environment and uncertain market conditions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve results.
  • The ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present regularly at senior/board level.
  • Functional Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
