Job summary
The

Retail Operations Specialist

will report to the Retail Operations Manager will play a key role in facilitating the improvement of retail operations, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintaining high standards across our network of stores. This hands-on role involves collaborating with the Retail Team to enhance efficiency, customer service, and overall store performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail operations, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement the identified improvements in retail operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with and offer support to the Retail team team to streamline processes and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
Provide feedback and recommendations to the Retail Operations Manager on potential improvements.
Ensure all stores adhere to established SOPs and company policies.
Assist in the development and updating of SOPs to reflect best practices and operational needs.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with SOPs.
Ensure high standards of store cleanliness, organisation, and visual merchandising.
Ensure consistency in the execution of brand standards across all stores.
Provide suppport to a variety of store-related activities inclusing training if required.
Support inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and loss prevention
Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in resolving discrepancies.
Coordinate with the warehouse and suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
Prepare regular reports on identified areas of remit.
Analyse operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Provide insights and recommendations to the Retail Operations Manager.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all stores.
Conduct regular health and safety audits and address any issues promptly.
Provide direct support to store teams, addressing operational challenges and ensuring seamless day-to-day functions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field / equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in retail operations, preferably in a luxury or high-end retail environment.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a retail environment.
