Job DescriptionJob Title: Retail PLM Business AnalystWork Arrangement: London Hybrid (2 to 3days)Number of Positions: 2Special Working Conditions: Travel to customer location as neededDay Rate:£400Role DescriptionAs a Retail PLM Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping our retail customer implement a roadmap of solutions leveraging PLM and bespoke solutions in the areas of product design, development, sourcing, and sustainability. You will have access to cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the customer’s strategic goals.ResponsibilitiesDevelop a comprehensive understanding of existing processes and systems as a foundation for future solutions.Collaborate with internal and external teams to shape the landscape and solutions that meet strategic objectives.Gather business requirements through interviews, workshops, documentation reviews, business analysis, and process evaluations.Challenge business units on their assumptions to deliver solutions for their current and future needs.Evaluate information from multiple sources to determine true business requirements, ensuring proposed solutions reconcile all business inputs.Compile requirements into comprehensive documents using templates, diagrams, process flows, and scenarios.Validate solutions to ensure they meet defined requirements, providing feedback on gaps and suggesting changes as needed.Collaborate with team members across different work streams to ensure alignment and end-to-end process functionality.Key Skills/Knowledge/ExperienceMinimum of 3 years as a Retail PLM Business Analyst or Retail PLM Functional Consultant.Functional knowledge of FlexPLM or other retail PLM solutions.Experience with retail product development and product lifecycle management processes.Advantageous: Experience with sustainability processes in product development (e.g., Digital Passport, Higgs Index).Experience working in an agile environment and methodologies.Strong analytical skills to interpret customer needs and translate them into application requirements.Ability to work alongside business SMEs, business and IT stakeholders, and vendors.
