Position; Retail Sales Assistant / Administrator

Location; Abingdon

Salary; £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Planet Recruitment are recruiting for a Retail Sales Assistant / Adminisrator to work in a retail store based in Abingdon. 40 hours per week - working a mixture of early and late shifts covering the stores opening and closing times, averaging working 5 days per week including two weekends a month.

This role will suit someone with excellent customer service skills both face to face and on the phone and someone who is confident to make sales decisions. There will be an opportunity for this person to develop longer term.

Main responsibilities;

• Ensuring the store is run successfully on a day-to-day basis
• Providing excellent customer service at all times both on the phone and email
• Working towards sales targets for the store
• Ensuring customer expectations are met and they are satisfied with service
• Responsible key holder
• Some light manual duties as and when required
• Processing invoices

Experience / Qualifications;

• Experience of managing customer service
• A "can do" attitude, not afraid of getting stuck in
• Self-driven, passionate and committed to exceed customer expectations
• Excellent communication skills
• Management experience in a sales and customer service role
• Ability to drive sales and deliver revenue targets
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads
• Results driven and always strives to succeed
• A team player
• Computer literate
