Store Manager position for New Store Opening- Electromist York

Are you experienced in Retail store management, possessing the drive and tenacity to achieve results? If so, we are recruiting for a Store Manager position at our York store and are looking for individuals just like you!

Job Description:
The store manager Electro Mist has a lot on their plate! In this rewarding and demanding job, the store manager is responsible for developing and maintaining an efficient and welcoming store and staff that delivers the best of the best in the vaping industry.
The store manager will recruit, interview, coach, develop, and oversee the entire store team at Electro Mist. The store manager is number one when it comes to directing and supervising the store workforce, making staffing decisions, and always ensuring that we deliver a quality experience.

Leadership:
Reflecting the Electro Mist company culture in leading and cultivating the store team.
Hiring and training of Electro Mist employees- The store manager needs to be able to interview applicants. properly using the “Interview Guide” which will be followed and filled out properly to evaluate the applicant.
Setting goals within the workgroup, modeling how we work together to accomplish Electro Mist's goal of providing the most enjoyable vaping experience to all customers.
Demonstrates a calm demeanour in times of high volume, and manages the store appropriately to ensure a smooth experience for all customers.
Making sure the entire store operations checklist has been completed thoroughly by employees and the manager checklist.
Employee coaching, ensuring the best customer experience is delivered.
Coaching to ensure all store employees deliver “Wow” customer service with each interaction.

Administration:
Taking the bank deposits, changing the tills, and completing the cash audit.
Inventory and store supplies.
Overseeing proper receiving of items from the warehouse, and that inventory levels are kept accurate.
Doing inventory write-offs on defective products.
Job posting and using interviewing best practices to ensure all new hires fit the Electro Mist company culture.
Filing of new employee paperwork.
Using scheduling software along with sales reporting to maintain effective scheduling.

Shop Floor:
Ensure the proper restocking of products on store shelves.
Overseeing the disciplined upkeep within the store, and that all duties are done with 100% quality and completed effectively in the scheduled times.
Ensures that visual marketing and merchandising of the store meets established brand standards.
Daily cleaning schedule maintained.
General maintenance was reported.
Safety guidelines are adhered to and relevant documentation is completed.
Creates a customer service-focused environment where the best possible customer experience is the top priority.
Communicates store goals, brand awareness, and company messages to team members whilst promoting product knowledge.

Required Experience:
Management experience (2 years).
Progressively responsible retail experience (3 years).
Customer service experience.
Documented experience in management & leadership.
Vaping experience would be an advantage but not essential.
Experience computer skills.
People management.
Friendly, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
Team building skills.
Sales experience.
Goal orientated.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Able to maintain efficient store operations independently.
Managing in a busy/fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Good

communicator/personal

skills with customers and employees.
Talent for leadership, personnel training, coaching, and development.
Operational and financial management skills.
Having experience with great customer service and understanding Electro Mist's customer service goal.
