Retail Travel Consultant

Our client, an award-winning, independent travel agency, is looking for two experienced Travel Consultants to join their busy branches across Leicestershire. This is a varied role where you’ll work across four local branches, providing support and cover during busy periods, holidays and sickness. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a customer-focused environment.

You’ll provide expert travel advice, create tailor-made holidays and deliver exceptional customer service. Working with a wide range of tour operators, cruise lines and dynamic packaging platforms, you’ll turn enquiries into bookings and build lasting customer relationships.

Role of Retail Travel Consultant:

* Provide expert travel advice and outstanding customer service

* Convert enquiries into bookings and achieve sales targets

* Sell package holidays, cruises, dynamic packages, city breaks and tailor-made itineraries

* Use industry booking systems and supplier platforms

* Build strong customer relationships and generate repeat business

* Keep up to date with destinations, products and travel trends

* Support the wider team across the four branches

Skills required for the role:

* Proven experience in a retail travel agency

* Strong sales skills and a track record of achieving targets

* Experience booking holidays through tour operators, suppliers or dynamic packaging platforms

* Excellent destination knowledge

* Experience selling cruise and/or tailor-made holidays
