Retrofit Project Assistant

Role Overview

The main aim is to improve the energy performance of council-owned homes, reduce carbon emissions and help tenants save money on their energy bills.

Key Responsibilities

Project coordination: Supporting the planning and delivery of housing retrofit and energy efficiency projects.

*

Tenant engagement: Liaising with residents, arranging property access and communicating planned works.

*

Contractor coordination: Supporting procurement, tender documentation and property surveys.

*

Energy performance: Monitoring EPC ratings, energy efficiency improvements and retrofit outcomes.

*

Reporting and administration: Updating housing databases, preparing project reports and assisting with grant funding applications.

*

Site visits: Attending council properties to support the delivery and monitoring of works.
