Revenue Accountant

Sheridan Maine are currently partnering with a leading UK wide organisation in the hunt for a Revenue Accountant to join their central finance business team. Working within a small team responsible for costs across the business, the Revenue Accountant will be responsible for accurate billing, budgeting and forecasting, and financial analysis.

Key duties of the position, will include:

• Ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Liaise with stakeholders to assist with billing related queries.
• Analyse billing information to improve costs across the business.
• Gather financial data from finance teams to ensure accurate cost and billing information.
• Assist with the annual budget and forecast for costs across the business.
• Provide business partnering support to key stakeholders.
• Monthly reporting with variance analysis and commentary.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• Part qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACCA) (desirable).
• Excellent communication skills (essential).
• Financial accounting knowledge (essential).
• Prior experience of working in an accounts/ finance role (essential).
• Ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (essential).
• Strong level of Excel skills- lookups, pivot tables etc (essential).
