Revit Technician

We are working with an established and growing engineering business operating within the high voltage sector (HV), who are looking to recruit an experienced Revit Technician to join their team in Norfolk.

The business is involved in the delivery of major HV substation and electrical cabling projects, offering the opportunity to work on technically interesting and high-profile infrastructure schemes within the renewables and private networks sectors.

As a Revit Technician, you will play an important role in supporting the design and delivery of HV infrastructure projects, producing accurate 3D models and technical drawings and working closely with engineers and project teams.

You will be involved in:

Producing and developing detailed Revit models and drawings.

*

Supporting the design of HV substations, cabling and associated infrastructure.

*

Producing technical and construction drawings from engineering information.

*

Coordinating models across multiple disciplines.

*

Identifying and resolving clashes and design issues.

*

Working closely with engineers, designers and project managers.

*

Maintaining drawing and BIM standards throughout the project lifecycle.

*

Supporting projects from initial design through to construction.

We're keen to speak with Revit Technicians who have a strong technical understanding and experience working within an engineering, construction or infrastructure environment.

You should have:

Solid experience using Autodesk Revit.

*

Experience producing detailed 3D models and technical drawings.

*

A good understanding of BIM and model coordination.

*

The ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

*

Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.

*

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
