CareerMakers Recruitment are currently looking for a Rewinder in Leeds, LS12.
Duties will include:
o Correctly understand and complete instructions on OPM job Ticket
o Take responsibility for work carried out by QA signing all job documentation
o Ability to identify & understand finishing specs on work.
o Locate correct printed reels/ product for inspection relating to individual job cards for inspection along with Print Proofs, Cores, Packaging items and create id Labelling.
o Thread web through machine following correct route, set blades for slitting web to finishing spec.
o Setting of clock / counter for final Reelage.
o Setting of machine tensions for specific materials using controls.
o Utilise the Full sequential inkjet and software to add sequential numbering to product when requested by client
o Using strobe light, visual checks & print fault flags remove waste & poor-quality print
o Carry out Inspection, Slitting, and rewind of reels to final finishing spec as per job cards correctly identifying core size required.
o Monitor quality and consistency of product, identifying and removing all non-conforming products, set up and in-process waste, placing into provided bins.
o Calibrate machine to correct core size as cutting.
o Cutting cores using the Parkland TC10 160 Core Cutter.
Desirable Skills:
o Good understanding of print, communication skills, good organizational skills.
o Operate a fork lift Truck (Training can be provided after 3-month employment)
o Perform rewind / dispatch duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner
o Proficient use of Microsoft Office - IDC level Tharstern to basic level.
o Proficient use of AVT Inspection Camera software and system
o Proficient use of Sequential Numbering software
Schedule:
Rotating shifts:
Early shift - Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am to 12.45pm on a Friday.
Late shift - Monday to Friday – 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday and 12.45pm to 7.30pm on a Friday.
Night shift - Sunday to Thursday – 10pm to 6 am
Pay:
£12.71 per hour Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
