Location: Royston
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm (40 hours per week).
Salary: £25,400 + (DOE)

Our well known and award-winning client are looking for a Rewinder & Despatch Assistsant to join their fast paced and busy team. This is a fantastic new opportunity for a proactive and keen individual with proven experience in despatch. This is a permanent position.

Main tasks as a Rewinder & Despatch Assistant:
- Operate, monitor and maintain rewinding equipment to job specifications
- Check label quality, reporting any defects
- Aiding the smooth running of rewind machines, from ensuring consumables are maintained and general maintenance
- Cover goods in during absence and annual leave
- Support the packing area in peaks of high demand
- Moving pallets of finished goods using FLT
- Strict adherence to production procedures and SOP's
- Follow all safety procedures and SOP's whilst performing main tasks
- Additional general duties as deemed necessary

Required skills as a Production Operative (Rewinder):
- Hold a Counterbalance forklift licence
- Experience in despatch/goods in
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- PC literate
