RF Engineer

YT Tech is currently partnering with an established leader in defence and aerospace technology to recruit an experienced RF Engineer. Our client designs and manufactures high-performance technology solutions used in critical operations worldwide.

The Role

*

Deliver expert guidance on RF and microwave design within the R&D team.

*

Drive the product lifecycle from initial research and specs to prototyping and testing.

*

Develop broadband RF circuits spanning MHz to 10+ GHz.

*

Translate client requirements into hardware architectures and maintain technical documentation.

*

Provide technical support for existing in-service products (occasional international travel required).

Requirements

*

Strong background in RF/microwave design within defence, aerospace, or related industries.

*

Hands-on laboratory measurement and testing expertise.

*

Ability to work from loose customer briefs and perform well under pressure.

*

Clear, precise technical documentation skills.

*

Must be eligible for UK security clearance (BPSS minimum; higher-level vetting may be required).
