Risk and Compliance Lawyer

We are looking for a Risk and Compliance Lawyer who can provide specialist legal risk-based advice on complex areas of regulatory compliance for a Top 100 UK law firm, based in Cardiff (with flexibility to be fully remote). All you need is experience dealing with GDPR, Data Protection, the SRA Handbook and regulatory standards/procedures (but other relevant legislation and regulation experience is welcomed).

Some key responsibilities:
Resolving formal complaints and incidents
Identifying causes of breaches and reporting mitigation and themes.
Managing firmwide risks (ethical, regulatory, conduct)
Updating and reporting on risk registers.
Ensuring all corrective actions are mitigated
Examining R&C data, reporting on emerging risks and conducting thematic reviews and audits
Providing suggestions for mitigation
Designing and delivering R&C training programmes and materials.
