Role Purpose
Reporting to the Chief People & Sustainability Officer, we have a new position for an experienced ‘ISO Compliance, Risk and Sustainability Manager’.

This role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk while ensuring the business adheres to legal requirements, certification standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, PCI) and in house policies. The role involves developing, implementing, and managing risk and compliance programs across key stakeholders and activities across the business to protect the organisations assets, reputation, and operations. The role also encompasses managing and advancing the company's sustainability initiatives in alignment with business objectives and environmental regulations.

Principles Responsibilities:
• Certification Management: Collaborate with Directors and Senior Management to develop, implement, and maintain the company's certification including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management) standards, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) as covered in our integrated management system.
• Internal Audits: Plan, conduct, and oversee internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Issue Investigation: Conduct investigations to identify, report, and resolve compliance issues.
• External Auditors: Coordinate with external auditors, facilitate audit processes, and manage audit schedules.
• Document and report audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and monitor their implementation, challenging stakeholders where audit actions are taking too long to resolve.
• Data Privacy- deputise for the Data Protection Officer. Provide support to the DPO in developing, implementing, and maintaining data protection policies and procedures.
• Incident Management – assist the DPO in managing data protection incidents and breaches, including documentation, investigation, reporting to appropriate authorities and affected individuals.
• Environmental Standards: Stay informed about and ensure adherence to environmental standards. Develop and implement strategies for sustainable development, including pollution control, carbon emissions, waste management, recycling, and renewable energy.
• Environmental Performance Reporting: Audit, analyse, and report environmental performance to internal and external regulatory bodies, and customers, such as those required for European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), Streamlined Energy Carbon Reporting (SECR) and Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)
• Lead a colleague network group for continued involvement and ideas on sustainability
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainable practices into business operations and product development.
• Attend Client Sustainability meetings to provide reporting/CO2e tracking data
• Manage sustainability reporting and metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Key Skills/Qualification/Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ISO auditing, quality management, or sustainability roles.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 standards, as well as environmental regulations and sustainability practices and General Data Protection Regulation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey audit findings and sustainability initiatives to stakeholders.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and project management skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive sustainability projects and audit actions.
• Ability to analyse data, identify risks, and provide strategic insights.
• Relevant certifications in ISO auditing and sustainability are preferred.

Working Hours
• Office-based with occasional travel to company sites and external audit locations.
• Flexibility to work extra hours during audit periods or special projects
• Hybrid office working, currently 3:2
