The Company

Graff Search are delighted to be partnering with this leading business law firm in London in the search for an experienced Risk & Compliance Officer with sound knowledge of SRA regulations.

This organisation has been in operation for over 3 decades and specialise in both legal and business advisory services across a number of Financial Services sectors across the UK.

This is a senior, permanent appointment, with a very competitive six-figure salary and good benefits, including a hybrid working arrangement.

This is a great opportunity to join an established Compliance and Risk team and work with a number of industry leaders - many of which are partners from top City law firms - and support the various business units across a number of Financial Services sectors.

This position will also have people management responsibility for one Compliance Officer, but also be the go-to person for all regulatory matters across the UK business.

About you

Sound understanding of SRA regulations
Demonstrative experience of working with senior stakeholders and influincing change
Experienced in working for a reputable law firm / professional services organisation.
Good working knowledge in either Financial Crime / AML / Sanctions / AB&C, Conflicts of Interest and Data Privacy - training can be provided.
The role would suit someone that’s interested in a varied Compliance position where no one day is the same. This position sits across all regulatory activities across the UK, so good stakeholder management experience is key, plus, someone with a good “can do” attitude is key, along with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, many of which have been with the business for a long time.
