I am working with a respected financial market infrastructure provider to recruit a Deputy Assistant Vice President within its model risk oversight team. This hybrid role is based in London, with a requirement to be in the office three days per week. The position sits firmly in the second line of defence and is focused on risk horizon scanning, proactive risk oversight, and broad risk governance.

The primary responsibility of this role is to identify and assess emerging risks that could affect the organisation's clearing operations. You will analyse industry, regulatory, and market trends, drawing on your quantitative skills to interpret data and scenario outcomes. Part of your remit includes planning and leading scenario analyses preparing executive-level reports and briefings, and contributing strategic insights to senior risk committees.

Applicants should possess a strong academic background in a quantitative or analytical field, with demonstrable experience in risk identification, risk planning, or oversight within a central counterparty clearing context. The ability to synthesise complex information, anticipate future risk challenges, and engage constructively with senior stakeholders is essential. Experience leading cross-functional risk workshops or scenario planning exercises is highly valued, as is familiarity with the regulatory landscape governing central clearing.
